Bricco del Perg DOC

Viticultural Details

The Bricco del Perg is a 100% Barbera Superiore, produced using the best selection from all of the vineyards.  High quality grapes, with excellent concentration of juice, are hand-picked from vines that have very low yields.  The vines are trained with the Guyot cultivation system.

Vinification and Maturation

The harvest typically commences in late September and the wine, after fermentation and maceration, will age nicely in French Oak barrique for 12 months before refining for another 10 months in bottle.  The wine is best after 4-6 years from its vintage date.
