ALBERTO BALLARIN WINERY
In 1928, the Ballarin business started. For many years the company activities were centered on the cultivation of fruit, hazelnuts, grapes, raising cattle, and producing wine. The complete transformation into specialization in viticulture began 25 years ago. Old crops were replaced by vineyards and their old warehouses were made into wine cellars. Today, Cascina Ballarin grow grapes in their own vineyards and produce wine in their own cellars. Barolo is their main wine however they also produce Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Langhe Rosso, and Langhe Bianco. They also provide a great experience and hospitality to visitors allowing them to vacation in the countryside at the La Morra vineyard. Cascina Ballarin also organizes guided tours and tastings of wine pairings with local products, such as cheese and cold cuts.
The quality of wine produced by Cascina Ballarin stems from the respect of the environment and the employment of sustainable practices.
