TENUTA GIUSTINI WINERY
The tradition, the experience and the passion for wine has been passed from generations to generations, as well as an "old dream" of opening a winery. After inheriting proper land, the patriarch of Tenuta Giustini, “Papadopoli” decided to realize that dream. The first Tenuta Giustini bottle of wine was produced in 2005. It was named appropriately Vecchio Sogno (“Old Dream”).
The grapes, grown exclusively in the family’s own vineyards and harvested by hand, guarantee a high level of production and give the various products in the range their typical characteristics akin to the Ionio-Salento region: strong colors, charming nose, harmonious character and elegance.
Tenuta Giustini rigidly selected the first generation clones to obtain the best wine producing grapes. Tenuta Giustini also uses additional techniques such as: selected gemmates (green pruning) performed after germination, manually binding of the branches to avoid failure of the vegetation to plant, natural treatments, and hand gathering. The focus is solely on Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia varieties that enhance the area of their provenience with their generous fruits.
